Here is the problem that I have with the current economic situation. It's not that the politicians, the economists, or even the media for that matter didn't see the downward spiral coming for years that bugs me. It's that America has been lied to and now every one of us will be reaping what the big government has sown. I have been watching multiple media outlets for the past couple of months and just gathering my thoughts so that I can make better judgments and have stronger arguments to those who seem to accept what is going on.
Barack Obama has pulled the blanket over America's eyes to shield us from the bad guys. His superman cape is going with the wind as he flies over the country and makes us all feel protected by his bright white smile and charismatic personality. But, he has lied to us and has possibly put us into the worst economic trifle EVER. This cannot be blamed on Bush Sr or Jr, Clinton, Reagan, Nixon, Carter, FDR, Lincoln, Jefferson or any other president for that matter because the collapse of the American way of life is coming, it is inevitable. The only problem is that instead of fighting fire with water or an extinguisher, we use gas, propane, and/or butane to douse the flames.
Instead of pulling out of the economic collapse the government is trying to spend our way out, meaning that we are pouring money by the Trillions into senseless programs such as renewable resources, cleaner energy, and "greener" cities. That is all fine and dandy (I am not against the green movement, per say) but our economy can not keep spending money that we don't have in order to become greener. A simple analogy that I will use is this: If my credit card had me $10,000 in debt my last thought would be to spend more on that card for amenities that I do not need. Like lets say a new t.v. to make my entertainment system complete or buy a new Mac book in order to curb my addictions to electronics. What do we do we are in debt? We pay it off, we don't keep spending, and especially do not continue to spend more money than we can afford.
I thought that the big campaign slogan that Obama used was: "No more Bush spending," or "No more Republican big spending proposals." But, we just seem to accept the fact that Obama does it, so obviously he can be trusted. Why can he be trusted though? What has he possibly done in his term thus far that should allow him my trust? Spending money, AIG scandal, laughing at the economic downturn, ESPN brackets, Jay Leno, buying toxic assets, and making jokes about retarded people are a few that I can think of off of the top of my head. I'm not saying that I am not optimistic about the economy, because I love America, and having America fail is the last thing that I would like to see happen. But, I am saying that people need to question big government. The government was set-up in order to keep the other state governments in line and be an overseer, not control the states and control the every movement of it's people.
I will write more, I just need to jot down my ideas and be more structured.

GreenPeace or GreenAnnoyance?
Touch me again little GreenPeace slaves and you will have quite the lawsuit on your hands...
Anyways, you are probably wondering what the heck I am talking about. I was on my way to my work to pick up my check and run a couple of errands when I ran into the most annoying creature ever to walk the face of the earth. His or her name is "Green Peace."
"Sir, would you like to know how you can save the environment?"
As I am carrying a plastic bag and a paper bag, in which I will not be recycling due to this jerkoff disrupting my day. He stood in front of me purposely trying to deter me from my destination. I was walking with my head down and my hood up, so my field of vision was already limited due tot he fact that there was almost a near-blizzard outside. So, I am walking to Chipolte to get a little piece of heaven rolled up into a tortilla where this incident occurred.
"You can help save the planet."
"The fate of Planet Earth relies on you."
But, instead of just taking my answer which was "No thanks, I am busy," this guy ends up touching me like he was trying to have a "Bro-ment" with me. I quickly shrugged this little attempt to invade my P-Space (Personal Space) and fired back with a "Global Warming is inevitable and cannot be reversed." Ohhhhhhhh that really struck a cord with this guy. So he started to back peddle as he was in front of me and just kept firing away, more than usual.
"No Global Warming can be reversed."
"We can save Mother Nature."
I said "No, thanks...GreenPeace wastes valuable tax-dollars to pay people like you to annoy people on street corners," is sort-of what I said (sorry, I was pretty heated and for some reason cannot remember exactly what was said, but this is similar). So I go into Chipolte to warm up, or cool off (whichever your prefer) and get my lunch/dinner only to be confronted AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ARRRRRRGH! This time I was even more angry with these people that I was about to throw down if I was touched again. But, of course it was a girl, who sure looked like a man but that is neither here nor there. She asked her question and I responded by saying "Get a real job and stop annoying people," and she quickly gave up on my situation.
I think that with the evolution of man and technology, Global Warming is inevitable. Recycling my pop bottle or buying a "Green light bulb or a Green battery" is a crock. It is just another way for these pointless organizations to make money, and America eats this pile of crap up. Hybrid cars are the thing of the future and "Green" laptops cost a substantial amount of money more, and you get half of the product. I will do my part by recycling when possible and everyone should at least try, but I do not need some douche bag who is either getting paid or has to do community service because he/she is a criminal should be wasting my valuable time to preach something that they probably don't even believe in.
Oh by the way, Andrew comes here Sunday...Pretty exciting and I cannot wait to take him around the city, and show him how I live!

Oscar Buzz... Is it worth it?
Let me start out by saying that I absolutely love this year's crop of movies. Almost every single one of them deserves an Oscar for Best Picture Nominee. The only problem is that this year each one is against one another. I just wish these movies came out at different years so that they could get the respects that they all deserve.
Here is my fantasy Oscar Award Winners:
Best Pic: Slumdog Millionaire (even though every one of them deserve it). I love Danny Boyle and all of his films. From what he did with Sunshine (one of my favorite movies of all time) and 28 Days Later, he did nothing but live up to the expectations. Thank you Danny for creating another masterpiece. I cannot wait to see your other films. The editing was amazing, the music was superb, the acting was...well (o.k, but that is why the actors were not up for Best Actors/Actresses). Other then the acting the movie was amazing, and I honestly walked out the theater with butterflies, that was how impressed I was.
Best Actor: This one is a tough one fore me. I loved Frost/Nixon and I truly believe that Frank Langella did an amazing job playing the role of Richard Nixon. But, I would have to give the award to Mickey Rourke. I will probably say the phrase "I loved this movie, or this part" over 25 times in this blog, but it is because each movie touched me in a different way. Mickey Rourke's part literally made me sad and almost made me tear up in a weird "guy" type of way. Besides the fact that he looks like a wrestler, I felt bad for "The Ram". This peice of acting is Oscar worthy and I think it is Mickey's turn to get a slice of the Oscar Pie. I just hope he gives his fans a better acceptance speech than he did at the Golden Globes.
Best Supporting Actor: Obviously Heath Ledger, even though he could have gotten a Lead Role, but after all it has "Batman" in the title and not "The Joker". This performance will be remembered forever, and he will also be.
Best Actress: Kate Winslett should win this even though I feel her part was better in "Revolutionary Road" than "The Reader". Oh well, not my awards ceremony I am just a spectator.
Best Animated: Wall-E... I honestly loved this movie! Even though it was a cartoon or an animated movie, it was great. The fact that there was no speaking hardly was a little bit hard to swallow, but the movie was just awesome and so cute (eww did I really just say that?)
To be honest, I could go through every other category and name off who should win but here is my list of must see movies and overrated movies of this year:
Great-
Slumdog Millionaire
Frost/Nixon
The Wrestler
In Bruges
The Dark Knight
Wall-E
Wanted (Entertaining to say the least)
Decent-
Defiance
Revolutionary Road (Great acting though)
The Reader
Milk (I could not get over Sean Penn and James Franco making out... sorry)
Hellboy 2
Overrated-
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Not that good... It was ok, but def. not best pic.) I just did not come out of the theater with anything to show... No emotion of hatred nor amazement, just Eh.
The Reader
I guess we will just have to see how my predictions pan out tomorrow night... I will blog a little bit during the show tomorrow because the award ceremonies are SOOOOO DAMNNNN BORING!!!!!!!!

Fuck Michael Moore
I have a large problem with people who seem to think that their First Amendment is so much greater than anyone else's and that in fact is what Mikey Moore does. He is able to preach this bullshit that he calls an opinion, in which he tries to FIGHT Propaganda, when he is in fact just creating more the stuff that he hates. He hates on the Government and is such a activist AGAINST the war, but each one of those soldiers fought for his fat ass to be able to speak publicly, but he is always the first to insult this course of action. Everything he has to say just pisses me off because I feel that without George W. Bush, his life would be reduced to absolutely nothing. Earlier today I was able to watch "Bowling for Columbine"for the first time and I had mixed feelings. I felt as if it were happening again (the shootings) even though I was so young, this sense of shock was surreal. But, as the movie progressed the connections between Northern Michigan, the NRA, Timothy McVeigh, Marilyn Manson, etc began to spout. *insert curse words directed towards Mikey Moore here* People in my class seemed to be de-sensitized towards this kind of violence, and started to snicker when the calls were being dispatched by 911 (when the callers were in such distress, almost crying). I seriously wanted to stand up and say "Fuck all of you for thinking something like this is funny." But, I didn't and tried to keep a calm head, only until the debates/discussion period began. Oh how I exercised MY 1st Ammendment.
As much as I have a problem with the devil woman (Jennifer Granholm), I love Michigan. It is such a beautiful state in so many aspects, but due to the overall retarded mind-state that the so-called politicians seem to have, the state seems to be the ass-end of almost every joke. We can't even have an Olympic Swimmer (somewhat of a pride for Michiganders), of Michael Phelps's without him smoking out of a bong and creating this spectacle of himself. UGH! AMERICAN'S STOP BEING EFFING RETARDED, you are in the national spotlight for a reason, stop smoking weed and shooting people. I don't get it (but, that is entirely another separate rant).
I saw how Flint seemed so desolate (which it is), and Detroit being almost War-Torn, and it literally made me cringe. I heard facts of unemployment rates, real estate failures, and the overall depression that Michigan has been facing and it makes we want to throw up. I live in a city/town that thrives off of south-landers who come up and spend their money on leisure activities in the up north. The only problem with this type of economy is that when the base of the economy (the south-landers) fails, it begins to have the trickle effect. Simply put, southern Michigan fails, then of course so does Northern Michigan. I have so much to say about Michigan, but my blog is not the place (unfortunately).
Anyways, all in all... Michael Moore, I am glad that your little phase has become almost non-existent and you have pretty much been reduced to the TV channels that no one watches, where you talk about Bush (STILL) and sweat to death not because you just got done running a 10K marathon, but merely because you were speaking to a group of reporters who don't even give two-shits.
So many things have happened to me this week that I will try to touch on, some funny and some that just tick me off. I will try to elaborate more as I get free time, I just have been busy with work, school, and that drug called Fallout 3.

Creative Juices Running Rampant
The creative juices have just be flowing in me lately. I have been seeing things in a new light ever since I changed majors, and got out of the bad habits that I was in at Saginaw. Not that Saginaw wasn't a great school, I just built horrible habits there and was not able to break them.
I am truly happy that I have given up drinking and partying (not saying that I won't exercise my legal right to consume a beer or two), but my days of partying hopping and waking up with no recollection of the night before are long gone. I have found my passion and my drive and nothing is going to stop me (of course except a major illness, or being struck by a moving object).
For the past couple of days I have been really into photography. Not just pointing and shooting or going to a fancy scenery and then taking a picture of it, but the actual compositions or the fundamentals of good photographs. As you can see in the blog preceding this one, I mentioned a DSLR camera (Digital SLR) which has been sitting on my every thought. I can seriously picture myself going to parks, taking photographs of dogs and their owners, then photoshopping the picture up a little bit, and publishing it. Or taking photos of Downtown Chicago, and adding texture, HDR imaging, and other types of photo manipulation to the once simple image. UGH THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!!!!!
I have taught myself photoshop and have been doing logos ever since (about 3 months). I will actually post a link to a photobucket album that I have created with a limited view of some of my work. Mainly because I have been using a little bit of tutorials and I probably need to credit some of the works that were ACTUALLLY published.
I will honestly probably post another blog when I get home of the days wrap-up of things that actually made me quite FURIOUS. I have to actually go take a test that I am pretty well prepared for.
Until later tonight...

First Blog EVERRRR!!!
I guess I will start off by telling you about myself. My name is Ryan Seaford and at this moment in time am 21 years old. I guess I feel that I started a blog to join this thing called the "Technical Revolution." That and I want to be able to express my opinions or talk about things that have just been grinding me down.
I grew up moving around most of the East Coast (I am a military baby or what they call a "Navy Baby"). I was born in Virginia and have lived in the following states: Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia (but might as well have been Florida), South Carolina, Michigan, and currently Illinois. I don't mind moving but I was so young that these moves never really affected me due to the young mental age that I had.
Here are my interests: baseball, softball, football, golf, basketball, music, movies, succeeding, photoshop, pictures, abstract realities, TV, xbox 360, warm weather, walking around, shopping, art, bad ass websites, homework (sometimes), creation (of anything I guess), opinions, computer programs, photography.
I think that list could have gone on forever. I will probably just end this blog, but it has been real America (or to those are are listening/viewing).
Things I want:
1. New tv
2. Macbook
3. iMac
4. Digital SLR Camera
5. iPod Classic 120 GB
Feel free to mail me anyone of these.
Don't worry, when I become more comfortable blogging my opinions will RAIN upon the digital world like FIRE!!! LOL, alright that was intense... I just haven't had an experience today that has really gotten underneath my skin. THEY WILL COME, I PROMISE!
